Key historical account

Came into existence as Primary School on 01 Oct 1980.

Upgraded to Secondary School in May 1982. Further upgraded to a Senior Secondary School in Oct 1990.

On 6th June 2014, APS Clement Town shifted to the new state of the art building

Senior Wing & Primary Wing were housed in 22 barracks. Before Aug 2001 the school was under Central Command, now the school is under Western Command.

The new School building was inaugurated by LT GEN PHILIP CAMPOSE PVSM, AVSM**, VSM, GOC-IN-C WESTERN COMMAND (NOW VCOAS)

Army Public School also known as APS. The school was established in 1980. Army Public School is a Co-Ed school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) . It is managed by Army Welfare Education Society.

The facilities provided within the environs of the school are truly world class. There is no dearth of avenues for skill enhancement and talent development. The faculty has been trained to be especially caring and encouraging.

The school follows CBSE system of education. The Early childhood education primarily focuses on Habit Formation and Skill Development. The children are guided into mainstream education based on themes which are inspired from the real life. Role play and learning by doing form an important part of the Pre Primary Education.
